To the editor:

The Hillsboro Convention and Visitors Bureau would like to thank the Hillsboro Community Foundation for awarding our committee with a $500 grant. This money will be used to help offset costs incurred during June, July, and August, when the CVB sponsors three “Family Movie Nights” for the community and surrounding areas.

The CVB began this bold initiative this past summer to generate positive exposure of the city and create a means of additional revenue for the economy.

The Hillsboro Community Foundation is a huge asset to our town. The CVB is grateful to be a grant recipient.
